MAKINO Music joined hands together with Pugongying Kindergarten of Shanghai Pudong New Area to hold the Music Tree seminar on 12th April, 2017. More than 60 outstanding government kindergarten teachers attended the seminar with MAKINO Music team.

Pugongying Kindergarten was founded in 1997, Shanghai first-grade kindergarten, Pudong demonstrative kindergarten, the experimental base of family education in Shanghai, experimental kindergarten of Ministry of Education’s project ——Learning through doing, Tao Xingzhi art education experimental base, China invention education practice base.

During the seminar, the Music Tree training Ms. LIU had a demonstration class with children aged at 3. Children laid down on the ground and closed the eyes to enjoy the music. Then, Ms. LIU asked what they heard from the theme music. Children were clever to answer the sound of car, rain drops and frogs. Much to the surprise, Ms. LIU told the story with teaching aprons, which caught children’s attention. Though the abundant music activities, children were more likely to command over the average beat and other music knowledge while the storytelling made them know the importance of safe car driving. 

MAKINO Team introduced the Music Tree Curriculum briefly including the picture book, theme story, theme music, children’s song, teaching aid, teacher’s guidance book, app and other elements. Teachers were encouraged to let children feel and explore music independently and cultivate moral conducts under the guidance. 

The present principals and teachers communicated with MAKINO Music Team concerning the Music Tree teaching methods. They thought Music Tree breaks through the traditional music teaching way, which would inspire the teachers to delve into Music Tree. MAKINO Music is expected to bring more colorful specialization training and music activities for various kindergartens.
